How does English Club work?

Each month, you will immerse yourself in authentic English materials such as podcasts, articles, TED talks, or videos. Before our live session, you engage with the selected material, preparing yourself for in-depth discussion and analysis during our monthly meetings.
During our live sessions, we delve into the vocabulary, dissect the themes, and explore the nuances of the chosen material. This interactive exchange allows you to deepen your understanding of the language while honing your analytical and critical thinking skills.
But the learning doesn’t stop there. Following each session, you have the opportunity to expand your studies through quizzes, writing tasks, and vocabulary exercises. With personalised feedback from Kerin, you can track your progress and refine your language proficiency at their own pace.

Hi! I’m Kerin
I have created this class specially for people who already have a high level of English. Your level should be advanced or proficient.
It’s perfect for people who are busy and don’t want to, or don’t have time to commit to a full-on English course.
We focus on real English. What do I mean by ‘real’ English? I mean that we use material produced in English that was not created for intentional use in the English language classroom.
Using this kind of content makes the learning process much more fun: it’s engaging, imaginative and motivating. It’s also useful because it elicits genuine responses from you, making your English more spontaneous and it will push you out of your comfort zone.
Joining this class will bring English back into your life by motivating and challenging you – we all have good intentions, but sometimes going it alone doesn’t work. We need a push and some structure to help us get there. Without practice, it’s very hard to make progress.
